Manuka Honey for Healthy Looking Skin

Manuka honey is different and more expensive than .regular honey. It’s made by bees that take nectar from the flowers of the Manuka tree.

The tree also known as the ‘tea tree’ grows in New Zealand and has antibacterial properties which is one reason the honey has been commonly used as a disinfectant and mouthwash plus to treats wounds.

Manuka honey is also used on skin to nourish and keep it looking healthy and this is normally done by using the honey as a face mask.

Manuka honey can liven up dull looking skin and delay the onset of fine lines and wrinkles if used regularly.

To use the honey spread a thin layer of it on clean face and leave for 20 minutes before rinsing out with warm water. Use 2 to 3 times a week for best results.
