Guava For Radiant Skin

Guava is a common fruit here in Sri Lanka much enjoyed by many.

Guavas with pink flesh are my favorite kind for it can be used on the skin to remove dead cells and impurities that clog up pores.

To make a face scrub from the fruit take a guava (make sure it’s the variety that has a pink colored flesh) and remove the green peel around it.
Then cut the fruit into two.

Take half of the fruit and grate it. Set aside.

Beat an egg yolk and mix the grated guava flesh into it.

Wash the face with a mild baby soap. Pat dry.

Apply the guava mixture on the face avoiding the eyes and lips.

Leave on for 20 minutes.

Rinse with warm water.

For best results do the treatment twice a week.
