Mung Bean Face Pack For Radiant Skin

Mung beans are a popular food made here in Sri Lanka at breakfast time. It’s served with coconut flakes and a spicy chili paste. Mung beans are an ancient health and skin healing food that can be consumed as well as directly applied on skin.

If you have sluggish looking skin plus blackheads and premature age spots and fine lines then applying a face pack made with mung beans at least twice a week can help.


To make such a face pack grind 4 tablespoons mung beans in a grinder until you have a fine powder. Then mix in enough water to make a paste. Apply on clean skin and leave on for 20 minutes. Then using a wet washcloth which has been soaked in warm water wipe the face clean removing all traces of the dried mung bean paste.
