How Comfortable Is Your Bedroom

The bedroom is one of the most important rooms in the house for it’s the place we go to when we want to rest.

Yet some of us tend to not fully get the rest our mind and body needs as we sleep.

The reason is because our bedroom is not arranged or designed in a way to help get a good night’s rest.

The color, temperature, size and comfort of the mattress, lighting in the bedroom and the smell of the bedroom has a huge impact on increasing the levels of sleepiness and relaxation in the mind and body.

Light pastels, grays, beige and whites are perfect colors for a bedroom.

Choose a mattress that gives you comfort plus make sure to change it every 7 years.

Use 60 watt bulbs to light up the room and prevent light coming through curtains/drapes or blinds when sleeping during the day.

The brain has the habit of waking us up when it perceives light during sleep.

Make sure the bed is not facing a door or window.

For an ideal sleep the temperature of the room should be cool and not warm.
